On the 30th of May the A team set off on their journey to St Marys playing field for a team theme 6 a-side football tournament.

The games are 7 minutes no half time.

The A team’s first rivals was Greenford which unfortunately we lost against them 2-0. The next game we played was Uplyme, we lost against them as well but only by 1 goal the score was 1-0 to Uplyme. After that we had a little bit of a break then it was Loders vs. Lyme Regis which this time we won 4-0. Then it was onto St Marys Beaminster which we beat them 2-0.  The next game was against  Marshwood and we beat them 5-0 which was a good result. Then it was onto one of the hard teams it was Salwayash, we unfortunately lost against them 4-0. Then it was onto St Mary’s Bridport, we beat them 3-0 another good result. The next game was another very tough game to play it was against Bridport Primary. We were doing so well but we lost 2-1 but Loders scored the first goal which was good.

On the 31st of May Loders took 2 teams the A team and the B team over to St Marys playing field to play in the Team theme football tournament. The A team were Kai was captain and the others were Tom, Edward, Marcus, Thomas, Olivia and Megan as a sub. The B team were Jack as captain, Jude, Charlotte, Ella, Rhiannon, Ryan, Dillon and Josh.

The first game was Loders B verses Charmouth. We played extremely well but ended up losing 4-0. The next game was Loders B verses Thorncombe St Marys. We played amazingly well and won 3-1! The next game we played was Loders B verses Thorners. Charlotte was in goal and they had this thing for smacking the ball in the goalies face. The first time Charlotte was ok but the second time it ended up hitting her right in the mouth and her braces cut her top lip and she had to go off to first aid. We needed another goalie so Jude opted in to play in goal and he was amazing. He had some fantastic saves and some not so fantastic saves! We ended up losing 3-1. The next game we played was against Broadwindsor and we lost 2-1 . Then we had lunch. We were all relaxing when we heard the jangle of Mr Kite’s keys and he told the B Team to hurry up as we were playing next! We all abandoned our lunch and ran off to play. It was a tuff game as we were playing St Catherine’s. We started off well but then they ended up winning 5-0! By the time we had finished it was almost time to catch the bus. We hopped on the bus and went back to school after a great day of playing football!
